Dr. Matthew Dueppen lives in Spring Arbor, Michigan and specializes in classical, jazz, lead trumpet,  and various other musical styles.  He also teaches privately and conducts educational clinics/masterclasses around the country.

 

Dr. Dueppen is an Assistant Professor of Music and Department Chair at Spring Arbor University, where he directs the Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Combo (Arbor Jazz Cats), Brass Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble. He also teaches Music History, Conducting,  Applied Brass (horn and trumpet), & Music Education courses. 

 

His teachers include the best in the business from around the United States. He has studied with Dr. Richard Hofmann, William "Bill" Bing, David Washburn, Jon Lewis, Dr. Brian Shook,  Jon Bhatia, and Dr. Christopher Moore.
